Komentáře

Over And Over je písnička typická pro Madonnu coby mladou hvězdu rozhodnutou bojovat za slávu, která se nenechá zastrašit žádnými překážkami, ani případným dílčím neúspěchem, a zároveň dodává odvahu svým fanouškům nebát se spadnout a vstát "over and over". První zmínka o jejím vzniku pochází již z roku 1979 ve formě opakovaného "again and again, over and over" na jednom ze starých demopásků.

Na komerčním singlu byla vydána skladba překvapivě pouze v Itálii. Cena tamních singlů se pohybuje v několika tisících korun, přičemž 12" deska je dražší než 7". Na obale těchto vinylů najdeme obrázek z The Virgin Tour (1985). Oproti tomu cenově dostupné je promo na obrázku výše.

Písnička byla překvapivě vybrána a remixována pro album You Can Dance (1987) a dosud nevydaný remix připravila (nejspíš) v roce 2005 i DJ Tracy Young. Ten zůstává nevydaný a možnost si ho poslechnout je zřejmě v nedohlednu.
